Creator Program Policy

This Creator Program Policy (“Policy”) governs the earning, conversion, and payout of Earned Karma (as defined in the Terms of Use) by users who participate in the Creator Program on Rivet (“Platform”).
This Policy must be read together with the Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, and Privacy Policy.
1. GENERAL
1.1. Rivet uses a single in-app Currency called “Karma”.
1.3. Rivet also allows Users to earn Karma (“Earned Karma”) by engaging in qualifying actions as defined on the platform (“Creator Program”). This includes, but is not limited to, contribution, participation, or creator activity on the Platform.
1.4. Karma earned by performing Qualifying Actions as defined on the Platform (hereinafter referred to as "Earned Karma") may be eligible for payouts/payout.
1.5. Any term not defined here shall have their meaning assigned in the Terms of Use.
1.6. In the event of any conflict between these Creator Program Terms and the Terms of Use, these Creator Program Terms will apply.
1.7. Participation in the Creator Program does not create an employment, agency, or partnership relationship between the user and the Platform. Redemptions are rewards for creative contribution, not guaranteed wages or entitlement.
2. ELIGIBILITY
To participate in the Creator Program, you must meet ALL of the following requirements:
2.1. Be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
2.2. Have an active Rivet account in good standing, with no active warnings, restrictions, or violations of the Terms of Use or Community Guidelines.
2.3. Have a verified email address associated with your Rivet account.
2.4. Reside in a jurisdiction where the Program is available.
2.5. Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement with the Company.
2.6. Have no history of fraudulent activity, multiple account creation, or activity manipulation on Rivet.
2.7. Meet the qualifying redemption criteria as published on the platform from time to time.
In addition to these, to remain eligible for the Creator Program, you must:
2.8. Continuously meet all of the above Eligibility Requirements.
2.9. Comply with the Ongoing Service Requirements set forth in Section 10.
2.10. Respond promptly to Rivet requests for information or documentation.
2.11. Maintain accurate and current account information.
2.12. Not engage in any activity that violates this Policy, the Terms of Use, Community Guidelines, or applicable law.
2.13. Refrain from conduct that could harm Rivet's reputation or business interests.
2.14. Assist the Company with legal requirements.
Failure to meet any of these requirements may delay or forfeit eligibility for redemption.
Rivet reserves the right to determine eligibility in its sole discretion. Meeting the stated requirements does not guarantee acceptance into or continued participation in the Program. Rivet may deny or revoke eligibility for any reason, including but not limited to concerns about account authenticity, compliance, or platform integrity.
3. EARNED KARMA
3.1. Karma is given as a reward for verified contributions, activity, or creator participation as defined on the Platform (“Qualifying Actions”) is referred to as “Earned Karma”.
3.2. Only Earned Karma obtained through legitimate Qualifying Actions as detailed on the Platform are eligible for payouts.
3.3. Karma acquired in ways other than Qualifying Actions are not considered Earned Karma and are not eligible for payouts. This includes but is not limited to:
3.3.1. Karma purchased directly with real money;
3.3.2. Karma acquired via gift card redemption;
3.3.3. promotional or gifted Karma;
3.3.4. Karma obtained through referral bonuses (unless explicitly stated otherwise); and
3.3.5. Karma earned through methods that violate this Policy or the Terms of Use.
3.4. Rivet reserves the right to audit and verify that all Earned Karma were obtained in compliance with this Policy.
The determination of whether Karma is Earned Karma resides solely in Rivet’s discretion.
4. REDEMPTION
4.1. Eligible Users may redeem Earned Karma at a fixed conversion rate as published from time to time.
4.2. Conversion rate as on 1 January 2026: 1,500 Earned Karma for $1.00.
4.5. All redemption requests are final and not eligible for refunds and cancellations.
4.6. Redemption Limits: Users are subject to redemption limits based on their tier status. Each tier unlocks an additional redemption allocation. Redemption limits as on 1 January 2026:
- Gold Users: $100 redemption limit
- Platinum Users: $200 additional redemption limit upon achieving Platinum status
- Diamond Users: $400 additional redemption limit upon achieving Diamond status
Once a user has fully utilized the redemption allocation for their current tier, no further redemptions will be permitted until they progress to a higher tier (if applicable), regardless of Earned Karma balance. These limits may be revised at sole discretion of the Company.
Rivet may, at its sole discretion, offer bonus amounts in addition to standard redemptions from time to time. Such bonuses may be offered as withdrawal incentives or promotional rewards and are not guaranteed. Any bonus amounts paid will count toward your applicable tier redemption limit.
4.7. Optional Gift-Card Redemption: Where permitted by law, the Platform may allow redemption of Earned Karma for approved gift cards (for example, Amazon or equivalent). Such redemptions will comply with local consumer-protection laws regarding disclosures, expiration, and service fees. Gift cards may not be converted into cash or transferred.
4.8. Conversion Rates: The Platform sets and periodically reviews the conversion rate between Earned Karma and fiat currency or gift-card value. Conversion rates may vary depending on market, taxation, or partnership factors and are communicated through the Platform.
5. REVIEW AND APPROVAL
5.1. Upon submission of a redemption request, Rivet may conduct a comprehensive review of your account activities, including but not limited to:
5.1.1. Verification that Earned Karma was obtained through legitimate Qualifying Actions
5.1.2. Review of compliance with Terms of Use and Community Guidelines
5.1.3. Confirmation of Ongoing Service Requirements
5.1.4. Verification of all Eligibility Requirements
5.2. Rivet will review redemption requests within a reasonable timeframe, typically 7-14 business days, though this period may be extended at Rivet’s discretion.
5.3. Rivet reserves the right to approve or deny any redemption request in its sole discretion. Approval of a previous redemption does not guarantee approval of future redemptions.
6. REDEMPTION PROCESS
6.1. All redemptions are executed solely through Licensed Payout Partners registered as money-services businesses (“Licensed Payout Partner”). The Platform itself does not hold, transmit, or store any monetary value on behalf of users.
6.2. By participating in the Creator Program, you agree to comply with our Licensed Payout Partner’s Terms of Service and Policies.
6.3. Redemptions will be processed:
6.3.1. in the local currency of the User’s verified jurisdiction,
6.3.2. via a payout method supported by the Licensed Payout Partner, and
6.3.3. subject to applicable processing fees and limits.
6.4. Processing timelines may vary depending on location, verification status, and Licensed Payout Partner availability.
6.5. Your use of our Licensed Payout Partner and selection of payout options (PayPal, Venmo, Cash App, bank transfers, gift cards, etc.) are subject to the respective terms and conditions of those third-party services. You are responsible for complying with all applicable third-party terms.
6.6. The Platform reserves the right to modify, delay, or withhold payouts in accordance with applicable law and partner policies.
7. TAXES AND REPORTING
All payouts under this Policy are considered income for the purposes of tax reporting and compliance. The Platform or its Licensed Payout Partner may:
7.1. collect relevant tax documentation;
7.2. apply statutory deductions or withholdings; and
Users are responsible for declaring and paying all taxes arising from such income.
8. AML, KYC, AND FRAUD CONTROLS
To comply with regulatory expectations and mitigate misuse:
8.1. All redemption requests are subject to automated AML and anti-fraud screening.
8.2. Payouts will only be processed for verified users with valid KYC and tax records.
8.3. The Platform reserves the right to suspend or reverse any payout suspected of fraudulent or abusive behaviour.
8.4. Repeated suspicious activity may result in permanent Account closure.
8.5. The Platform and its Licensed Payout Partners retain all transaction and KYC records for regulatory audit purposes.
9. ONGOING SERVICE REQUIREMENTS
All Users must, at all times:
9.1. Comply with all applicable local, state, national, and international laws and regulations.
9.2. Adhere to Rivet's Terms of Use, Privacy Policy, and Community Guidelines.
9.3. Refrain from engaging in fraudulent, deceptive, or manipulative behavior.
9.4. Not use bots, scripts, automation tools, or any artificial means to generate Earned Karma.
9.5. Not create or use multiple accounts to participate in the Program.
9.6. Not harass, abuse, or harm other users or Company staff.
9.7. Not circumvent or attempt to circumvent any security measures or technical limitations.
9.8. Respond promptly and truthfully to Company inquiries.
9.9. Report any technical issues, bugs, or exploits to Rivet immediately.
9.10. Maintain the confidentiality of account credentials.
9.11. Not use any automated methods to generate Earned Karma.
9.12. Not engage in any activity that could harm Rivet's reputation, business interests, or relationship with third parties.
You must not engage in any activity that undermines the integrity of the Platform, including but not limited to:
9.13. Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities.
9.14. Reverse engineering Rivet's algorithms or systems.
9.15. Sharing confidential information about the Program or Platform operations.
9.16. Coordinating with others to manipulate metrics or game the system.
9.17. Providing false information or documentation to Rivet.
9.18. Impersonating other users, entities, or Company representatives.
10. REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES
By participating in the Program, you represent and warrant that:
10.1. All information you provide is truthful, accurate, and complete.
10.2. You have the legal right and capacity to enter into this agreement.
10.3. Your participation does not violate any other agreement or obligation.
10.4. You are the rightful owner of the account and payment information provided.
10.5. You will not engage in any prohibited activities as outlined in this Policy.
10.6. You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations relating to your participation in the Program, including but not limited to consumer protection laws, privacy laws, intellectual property laws, and financial regulations.
You acknowledge and agree that:
10.7. Participation in the Program does not guarantee any specific level of earnings or any earnings at all.
10.8. The Program may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time.
10.9. Eligibility requirements and payout amounts may change.
10.10. Past performance or approvals do not guarantee future results.
10.11. The existence of the Program creates no obligation for Rivet to continue it in the future.
11. TERMINATION AND SUSPENSION
11.1. Rivet may terminate or suspend your participation in the Creator Program immediately and without prior notice if you breach any provision of this Policy, the Terms of Use, or Community Guidelines.
11.2. Upon termination (voluntary or involuntary):
11.2.1. No refunds, reversals and adjustments shall be applicable.
11.2.2. Your access to the Creator Program benefits will be immediately revoked.
11.2.3. Any pending payout requests may be withheld or canceled.
11.2.4. Earned Karma remaining in your account may be forfeited.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All intellectual property rights in and to the Platform, including the Creator Program features, algorithms, design, trademarks, and proprietary information, are and shall remain the exclusive property of the Company. Nothing in this Policy grants you any ownership rights in Company's intellectual property.
13. PRIVACY
All data collected in connection with the Program is subject to Our [Privacy Policy](/privacy), which is incorporated herein by reference. Please review the [Privacy Policy](/privacy) to understand how your information is collected, used, and protected.
14. DISCLAIMERS
THE PROGRAM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." RIVET MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, REGARDING THE PROGRAM'S AVAILABILITY, FUNCTIONALITY, OR SUITABILITY FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PROGRAM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE FROM HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
RIVET MAKES NO GUARANTEES REGARDING THE AMOUNT OF EARNED KARMA YOU MAY ACCUMULATE OR THE AMOUNTS YOU MAY RECEIVE THROUGH PAYOUTS. EARNING POTENTIAL DEPENDS ON NUMEROUS FACTORS OUTSIDE RIVET'S CONTROL.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR PARTICIPATION OR INABILITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM.
IN NO EVENT SHALL THE COMPANY’S TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE ACTUALLY RECEIVED FROM THE PROGRAM IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
15. MODIFICATIONS
Rivet reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify, amend, or discontinue the Program at any time and for any reason. Your continued participation in the Program after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the changes, your sole remedy is to withdraw from the Program.
The existence of the Program creates no obligation for Rivet to continue offering it in the future. We may discontinue the Program entirely without liability to you or other participants.
16. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
BY PARTICIPATING IN THE CREATOR PROGRAM, YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THIS CREATOR PROGRAM POLICY, INCLUDING ALL TERMS, CONDITIONS, LIMITATIONS, AND DISCLAIMERS ON THE PLATFORM.
