Illegal Substances

You can chat about your weekend or your favorite craft beer, but using Rivet to trade, sell, or promote drugs or other controlled goods is a hard no.

What's not allowed

• Buying, selling, trading, promoting, or helping others get illegal drugs or controlled goods/substances—on profiles or in DMs.
• How-to content for obtaining, using, or making illegal drugs or other controlled goods (recipes, sourcing tips, "plug" lists, etc.).
• Any illegal activity; you can't use dating apps to buy/sell drugs or break the law.

What is okay (keep it clear and responsible)

• Normal, non-promotional conversation about adult beverages or legal topics in context (e.g., "wine on Fridays"), without glamorizing misuse or pushing anyone to join in.
• Educational or health-related discussion around drugs in private messages - only if it's clearly for safety/education and not about getting or using them. If it's ambiguous, we may remove it.

Respect boundaries; if someone doesn't want to drink or use anything, drop it.
