We're here for real connections, not sales pitches. Rivet isn't a marketplace, so using your profile or DMs to promote, sell, or recruit isn't the vibe.

What's not allowed

• Advertising or promotion of products, brands, services, events, investments, performances, or businesses - whether on your profile or in messages.
• MLM / pyramid recruitment or "group sales" schemes of any kind.
• Dropping payment links or handles (wallet IDs, money-transfer usernames, etc.) anywhere on your profile.
• Spamming people with mass solicitations or "check out my thing" messages. Connections here are for people, not promotions.
• Farming followers: don't advertise or share social handles just to grow your audience; Rivet is for dating, not audience-building.
• Fundraising or political campaigning.
• Sex work, escorting, or compensated relationships aren't allowed here.

Keep it classy. Talk about your job or passions in a normal "getting to know you" way; just don't turn your profile or DMs into an ad.
