Adult Content & Sexual Activity

What's totally okay
- Say what you're looking for. You can be upfront about your romantic or sexual intentions on your profile - as long as it's legal where you are and not crude or graphic. Keep it clear, kind, and tasteful.
- Spicy talk in DMs? Go for it, but with consent and only with your matches. Make sure the conversation is welcome on both sides, stays honest, and follows the law. If someone's not into it, STOP.
- Show up as yourself. We celebrate bodies of all shapes and sizes. Workout gear is fine (gym selfies happen), indoors or outdoors. Swimwear is okay too when it's clearly an outdoor setting (beach, pool, lake day).
What's not okay on profiles (or in profile links)
We remove content that shows or focuses on:
- Genitals or pubic area (even if "covered" with emojis, hair, or sheer fabric).
- Bare buttocks.
- Women's nipples/areolas.
- Clear outlines of genitals through clothing.
- Underwear-only or lingerie pics.
- Sex acts of any kind (even if it's implied or partly off-camera).
- Digitally created or drawn sexual imagery (cartoons, anime, memes, etc.) that includes any of the above.
- Links steering to adult content or porn sites. Keep it off your profile.
No sexual commerce - at all
Rivet isn't a marketplace. You can't use it to:
- Offer or request sexual services for money or anything of value.
- Sell, advertise, or buy adult sexual content (including camming/live streams) or redirect people to adult sites.
- Seek or offer romantic/sexual "arrangements" in exchange for cash, gifts, or financial support.
Keep public text classy (usernames & bios too)
We love honesty, but don't post:
- Graphic or explicit descriptions of kinks.
- Descriptions of sex acts.
- Vulgar or sexually explicit jokes.
- Save the adult chat for consensual DMs—your profile is your first impression!
Friendly reminders
- Consent is everything. If someone isn't into the conversation or stops replying, drop it.
- Not sure if a photo crosses the line? If you'd hesitate to show it to a friend at brunch, don't post it.
We continuously review and enforce these rules. If we make a mistake with your content, you can appeal by emailing us at support@rivetdating.com and we'll take another look.
